Dear Students,
By now, you would have decided what to study in London and you would be preparing for your journey to the UK. Pack your bags, take your good possessions with you and come to London!

Our students often ask us about accommodation in London. This is why I am writing this article. This article should not only help our students but students who are coming to any college in the UK.

First of all, accommodation in the UK is very expensive, and in London it is extremely expensive. For shorter stays, prices are calculated per week and for longer periods of time, prices are charged on monthly basis. Now, where you want to look for accommodation is important. In my personal experience, I find the internet the best place to look for homes and accommodation.

You can book your stay for as long as you want. Please note that if you book your accommodation for a shorter period of time, it will be expensive over all. The best thing to do is to take up an accommodation with a long contract, typically one year.

My honest advice to you:
Book a hostel in London for a week. Come to London, look around, see properties, meet people, ring up people, visit websites and find the perfect place for you to stay. Now, where to look for accommodation is another big step. I would like you people to try out the websites, as listed above. In addition, check the Following:

• Local Newspaper ads
• Friends in the area of concentration of your nationality
• Newsagents
• Word of mouth
• GOOGLE!
