Introduction
The OCR Level 2, 3 & 4 NVQ in Health and Social Care are designed to reflect the work of candidates who deliver Health and Social Care to clients. It is open to candidates of any age, of either gender and there are no entry barriers on grounds of previous academic attainment or learning.

Career Opportunities |
Candidates can progressively move to the OCR Level 2, 3 & 4 NVQ and social Care, or widen their specialist skills and undertake other OCR work based qualifications.

Assessment |
To achieve NVQ 2 qualification, candidates must achieve 6 units made up of 2 Core units, 2 optional units and the remaining 2 units can be from either the core group or optional group. To achieve NVQ 3 & 4 qualification, candidates must achieve 8 units made up of 4 Core units (including the choice of specialist route) and 4 Optional units. |

Mode of Delivery |
The trainer will develop a candidate’s knowledge, understanding and skills in relation to the NVQ that is being undertaken. |
