 IELTS Preparation Course |
Introduction
The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) is an examination jointly assessed and run by Cambridge ESOL, the British Council, and IELTS Australia: IDP Education Australia. IELTS is the International English Language Testing System. It measures ability to communicate in English across all four language skills for people who intend to study or work where English is the language of communication.

| Course Structure |
The IELTS module provides thorough preparation for the examination: essay writing, fluent and accurate speaking, describing and interpreting graphs and charts, and practice in the receptive skills of reading and listening.

| Career Opportunities |
The IELTS test certificate is an important qualification to gain entry onto the final year of degree studies in the UK and many other countries including America and Australia. Most Universities require an IELTS band of 6.0 minimum some will require 6.5 as a minimum level, particularly for masters level qualifications. |

| Assessment |
All candidates must complete four Modules - Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking to obtain an IELTS Test Report Form. |

| Mode of Delivery |
The programme is taught by a dedicated team of staff. There is a mixture of teacher led classes with a particular emphasis on group work. This creates an interactive learning community, develops language and communications skills whilst providing opportunities to practise learning goals. |

No academic qualifications are required for this course. However, it is preferable to have copies of academic qualifications of potential candidates to assess to what level they have studied to in the past and what their academic capabilities are. |

FCE Preparation Course
Introduction
FCE is an intermediate level Cambridge ESOL exam, at level B2 of the Council of Europe's Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. (PLEASE REMOVE AS IT IS INCORRECT)
The FCE Cambridge First Certificate in English (FCE) program is designed for students who want a more exciting career or to enrol at an European university or college. The Cambridge Examinations are the most popular certificates of British English, and are widely accepted in both the business and academic world to demonstrate language proficiency.
FCE is ideal if you want to work or study abroad or to develop a career which requires language skills (e.g. business, medicine, engineering etc.).

Course Structure
Our preparation course includes:
- Preparation for Reading, Writing, and Use of English papers
- Preparation for Speaking Test and Listening papers
- Exam practice
- Up to 10 hours Homework per week
The course is a highly intensive programme of language development, focusing on all of the main skills, required in the FCE exam. Vocabulary development is another extremely important aspect of the course.
Career Opportunities
Students will be able to work and study abroad and to develop a career which requires language skills (e.g. business, medicine, engineering). FCE indicates sufficient proficiency in English to be of practical use in clerical, secretarial and managerial jobs in many industries, in particular tourism, where contact with English speakers is required.
FCE is also useful preparation if you are working towards higher level exams, such as CAE (Certificate in Advanced English) and CPE (Certificate of Proficiency in English). This course is designed to prepare candidates for the Cambridge FCE (First Certificate in English) examination. FCE is widely recognised in commerce and industry careers, and by educational institutions in Britain and overseas as proof of language ability
Assessment
The students will be tested on a regular basis. However, when they decide to sit the
exam, they will have to register at the closest testing centre.
