How to proceed?

Start with choosing a course from our list of courses here
Course selected must be in line with your future carrier planning and financial position.

1- Application and documents
You can apply direct, or you can utilize the services provided by our approved agents.   Please email us for details of your nearest approved Westminster's education agent to info@westminsteracademy.co.uk

After you have decided upon the course, complete an On-line application Form ensuring you have provided full details of your education, employment history, English ability and contact details. If services of an agent are being utilized please ensure that both your email and the agent’s email id are provided to the college. You may expect a call from the college to discuss your online application.

There after you should send a completed application form (downloadable from the Internet) and all your academic documents, academic and/or work reference letters and passport copy to the college, or to your agent. Do this by scanning the documents and emailing them to admissions@westminsteracademy.co.uk or post them to the admissions team at address:

Admissions
Westminster Academy,
146-148 Oxford Street,
London W1D 1NB, UK

Conditional offer letter will be sent to you If your application is accepted, usually by email.  The Conditions that you need to satisfy before the College will offer you an Admission will be stated on the letter, but will normally include payment of 100% course fee.   Please note this conditional offer letter cannot be used for Visa applications.

2- Pay Tuition Fee and provide evidence of meeting other conditions
The second step is to send the Tuition fees to the College, usually via a Bank cheque or Demand Draft payable to Westminster Academy, or via a Bank Transfer.  Please E-mail accounts@westminsteracademy.co.uk if you would like to pay on line via a Bank Transfer or using VISA, Master Card, Switch, American Express, Discover, eCheck, or PayPal.

To secure a place at Westminster Academy London The minimum deposit is 100% of your course fees.  Obviously many students prefer to pay all their tuition fees in advance, as this helps to show the Academy and the Embassy that they are genuinely interested in completing their studies at the College, and avoids the student getting into financial difficulties after arriving in the UK.

After the Tuition Fees have been paid, and other conditions are met (e.g. provision of work or academic references, IELTS, etc) the Westminster Academy London will issue an Admission letter to support your Visa application, statement of fees and receipt.

3- Visa Application
International students requiring Visas to study in the UK should then apply for their Visa.  See this link for more information on the UK Visas website.  There are two application forms for adult students requiring General Student visas.  See link 1 and link 2 for the two forms for overseas students applying from outside UK.

The application should contain ;

The original academic /reference documents mentioned in the Visa letter on which your Admission was based
Visa letter from the College
The 2 Visa application forms
Original bank statements (or a Loan approval letter) in your own name (not parents or others) from a recognised Bank.

Note Any false or forged documents found by the UK Embassy or High Commission staff (specially trained to detect these) will result in a 10 year ban from reapplying for any type of UK Visa, and may also lead to a criminal conviction.

In order to provide fair processing time it is recommended that Visa applications are submitted at least 2 months prior to the Course start date.  Students should promptly inform the College once their Visa outcome is known. The College will email you or your Consultant with the necessary request forms to be completed with regard to accommodation and transport from your arrival at London airport.

For prospective studends who are already in the UK please refer to the www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk website, with different application forms.

4 – Visa decision
a)   VISA GRANTED
Immediately email the College at admissions@westminsteracademy.co.uk to inform us about your Visa, for neccessary accomodation and airport reception.  Further joining instructions, details of the Induction and enrolment activities and other essential details will be emailed to you before the start of the course.

Please note that under the new Tier 4 Student Visa rules students are not allowed to defer the start date of their course; and the College is required to report students who are not enrolled within 2 weeks to the UK’s Home Office/Border Agency.

b)
     VISA REFUSED
Intimate Westminster Academy (admissions@westminsteracademy.co.uk) via email regarding the decision, together with a scanned copy of the Visa refusal notice, quoting your Student reference number.  We will look at the reasons for refusal and suggest the most appropriate course of action for you, or your agent.  In many cases it is advisable to make a fresh application.
